No motivation? Don't know what to do? Press play. A full-body workout with just a set of rings and one weight, 20 minutes, 3 days a week.
A viewer told me he was struggling to get started with exercise, so I made this follow-along session for him and anyone else in the same boat. You don't need a gym, and you don't need to be a gymnast. You pick the version that suits you today and build from there.
WHAT YOU NEED
• A set of gymnastic rings
• One weight (kettlebell or dumbbell)
HOW IT PROGRESSES
Every exercise in this video has an easier and harder version, and I show you each step. Start where you can do the movement well, and move up as you get stronger. That's how you build capability without needing motivation to push through, because each step is a small, achievable upgrade.
HOW OFTEN
20 minutes, 3 days a week (for example Monday, Wednesday, Friday). That's one hour a week. Consistency beats intensity, especially when you're getting started or getting back into it.
I'm 48 and still training like a gymnast, and this is the kind of simple, basic training that keeps me strong. If you're over 40 and wondering whether it's too late to start, it's not.
If this helped, a like and a comment telling me where you're starting from would mean a lot, and subscribe for more calisthenics and strength training for real people.
