Tram Weekend at the National Tramway Museum | Day 2 Part 3

Join me for Part 3 of 3 from Day 2 of Tram Weekend 2026 at the National Tramway Museum, Crich, filmed on Sunday 13th September 2026. In this final instalment from Sunday, we continue to enjoy the museum's intensive tram service, with a varied selection of historic tramcars providing plenty of action along the line. We capture more arrivals and departures, passing trams and trackside views as the intensive timetable continues, giving us another opportunity to see and hear the museum's operational collection doing what it was built to do – carrying passengers. There's also more activity around the depot and yard, with trams being shunted and repositioned as the museum's crews manage the busy day's operation. Together with the special activities and demonstrations taking place across the weekend, it provides a fascinating glimpse at both the public and behind-the-scenes sides of running a heritage tramway. This is Part 3 and the final instalment from Day 2, bringing my main coverage of the National Tramway Museum Tram Weekend 2026 to a close. Across the weekend we've seen an intensive tram service, extensive depot and yard activity, shunting and traverser demonstrations and a fantastic variety of historic tramcars in action. The weekend also began with a particularly important milestone for the museum – the official launch of Blackpool 645 – Access Tram 2. That historic occasion, including the VIP launch ceremony, official handover, inaugural journey and my ride aboard the second journey of the day, is featured in its own dedicated video on the channel.
