Gameplay of Krak-On Splat Roller on tower control. It's been a little while since I've last used base kit of Splat Roller, so it time to give the Krak-On kit a shot. Thanks to @carlosgil5109 for requesting this weapon. Splat Roller is a short range weapon that does great damage, can one shot opponents up-close, has a wide attack, has okay paint output, and solid mobility. Squid beakon is a deployable sub weapon that gives you and your teammates another place to super jump to. You can place up to three squid beakons at a time. And Kraken Royal is a special weapon that allow you to transform into a giant kraken and attack opponents while being invincible to damage. Now I want to talk about the strength and weakness about this weapon and it's kit. The weapon is quite good at applying pressure once it's able to close the distance. The weapon can attack with either a horizontal flick or a vertical flick. Horizontal flick is good for getting quick kills up-close as well as covering more area in front of you. And the vertical flick can one shot and deal damage from a further distance, but the attack is more precise and narrow. Both flicks are very helpful for applying pressure, but the DPS isn't the best and the damage falls off the further away from it's attack is. It's paint output isn't the best and the weapon still get outranged by mid and long range weapon. Squid beakon is a great supportive sub that can help you and your team get back into the action. You can place up to three beakon at a time in almost anywhere on the map. Once placed down, the beakon will show up on your map and you and your team can jump to that beakon. It also notify if enemies are near to beakon, making it helpful to whether you want to jump to it or not. But the sub doesn't help in displacing opponents. The beakon have very low HP and enemies can see these beakon on their map. So if you happen to jump to a beakon and an enemy is near the beakon, you'll most likely be punish very hard for jumping in. Tho keep in mind that non-beakon users can jump to the same beakon twice before it break while a beakon users can only jump once to that same beakon. And kraken royal is a solid special that can help you apply a bit of aggro pressure while being invincible to damage. You can swim through enemy's ink at a good speed and attack enemies by either jumping, squid rolling, or doing a charged attack. Tho with the charge attack, you can aim at any direction and take less knockback. But although your invincible to damage, enemies can still shoot you to knock you back. And since you have to be very close to get damage onto opponent, enemies can just avoid your approaches. Also the start up and end lag are a bit slow, so careful when immediately activating the special or when the special about to end. So when playing Krak-On Splat Roller, you want to focus on applying aggro pressure. You'll mostly be trying to either flank or shark your opponent and utilizes cover to help you close the distance and find the right moment to strike. Place down some beakons along the way, tho you won't be using your sub that often. And once you have your special ready, activate it to either defend your or apply more aggro pressure. Just remember to manage your ink output and try not overextending too much. Thanks for reading this and hope you guys enjoy the video.
