📖 A PAGE DAILY | DAY 021 SURAH AL-BAQARAH (2:135–141) The Cow — Verses 135–141 ✨ VERSE-BY-VERSE SUMMARY Based on Tafsir Ibn Kathir 1. Verse 135 — Follow the way of Prophet Ibrahim Some among the People of the Scripture claimed that following their respective religions was the path to guidance. Allah instructs the believers to follow the pure faith of Prophet Ibrahim, who worshipped Allah alone and was not among those who associated partners with Him. 2. Verse 136 — Believe in all Allah’s messengers Muslims are commanded to believe in Allah and all the revelations given to His prophets, including Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Ya‘qub, Musa, and Isa (peace be upon them all). We must not reject any of Allah’s messengers but submit to Him alone. 3. Verse 137 — True guidance comes through sincere faith If others believe as the believers do—accepting Allah and His messengers without rejecting any of them—they have found guidance. Allah is sufficient to protect and support His Messenger ﷺ against those who persist in opposition. 4. Verse 138 — Embrace the way Allah has prescribed Allah’s ṣibghah refers to His religion and the faith that shapes a believer’s life. There is no better way than the way of Allah. Our faith should be sincere and evident in how we live. 5. Verse 139 — Allah is the Lord of everyone Allah is the Lord of both the believers and those who disagree with them. Each person is accountable for their own deeds, and worship must be directed sincerely to Allah alone. 6. Verse 140 — Do not conceal the truth Allah challenges those who claim that Prophets Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Ya‘qub, and their descendants were Jews or Christians. Their lives came before these later religious identities. Allah warns against concealing the truth He has revealed. 7. Verse 141 — Everyone answers for their own deeds The earlier generations have passed away, and they will receive the consequences of their own deeds. We will be accountable for what we do, not simply for the achievements or status of those who came before us. 🌙 TODAY’S REMINDER True guidance means believing in all of Allah’s messengers, worshipping Him alone, and living according to His teachings. Do not let pride or inherited identity replace sincere faith. Our greatest concern should be the deeds we send ahead for the Hereafter. 📖 One Page. One Video. Three Times a Day. Read it.
