It was supposed to be a Lunar Mission song years ago...but it was meant for something greater. It was meant to be Catalan, not English; and about this very subject. EL SOMNI DE L’UNIVERS Qui ha encès les llums del cel, qui ha escrit el nostre nom? Mirem les estrelles des de terra, però potser elles miren on som. Potser som només un pensament, una espurna dins la immensitat, un somni que neix sense paraules i que algun dia es despertarà. I si no som nosaltres qui somiem? H low I si algú ens somia a nosaltres? L’univers ens somia, mentre dormim sota el cel. Som batecs de la seva memòria, som estrelles dins la seva pell. L’univers ens somia, i ens fa néixer cada nit. Potser quan obri els seus ulls, tot allò que som haurà desaparegut. Potser la Terra és una llàgrima dins d’un somni sense final. Potser cada vida que estimem és una història dins d’un somni astral. Tu i jo, tan petits en el temps, creient que el món ens pertany. Però potser som una sola veu que l’infinit canta molt lluny. I si les nostres vides són somnis? I si som part d’alguna cosa més gran? L’univers ens somia, mentre dormim sota el cel. Som batecs de la seva memòria, som estrelles dins la seva pell. L’univers ens somia, i ens fa néixer cada nit. Potser quan obri els seus ulls, tot allò que som haurà desaparegut. No tinguis por de ser petit, ni de ser només un instant. Una vida pot ser eterna si algú la guarda en el seu cant. I si demà tot s’apaga, si les estrelles deixen de brillar, potser en algun racó del silenci el nostre somni continuarà. Tanca els ulls... Escolta el buit. Hi ha alguna cosa somiant darrere de la nit. L’univers ens somia, i nosaltres somiem també. Potser som dues cares d’un somni que ningú encara no entén. L’univers ens somia, des de l’alba fins a la nit. I mentre pensem que mirem el cel, potser el cel ens està mirant a nosaltres. Quan jo desaparegui, quan tu ja no hi siguis, quan la Terra sigui només pols... potser l’univers recordarà que una vegada ens va somiar. I potser encara ens somia.
