For half a year, I made regular journeys out to this secluded woodland sanctuary, bearing quiet witness to the shifting rhythms of the wild. With each visit, the earthen dugout gradually transformed into a true home. Brick by brick, I laid a rustic masonry stove with my own hands, carefully preparing it for the coming freeze, and framed a small window that let the soft, dappled light of the deep timber filter inside. When winter arrived, the wilderness underwent a breathtaking metamorphosis - ancient spruces were draped in heavy snow, locked in a profound, crystalline silence.
