In this Marathi travel vlog, I explore Netravali, a beautiful village in South Goa, surrounded by the greenery of Goa’s forest region. During this journey, I stayed at Arika, a peaceful plantation stay in Netravali, South Goa, surrounded by coconut palms, areca nut trees, and spice plantations. With just two cottages and a dining area nestled within the plantation, Arika offers a chance to slow down and enjoy nature at its own pace. My cottage had large windows overlooking the plantation, with beautiful shades of green all around and the soothing sound of birds chirping. It was the kind of place where doing nothing for a while felt like the best part of the journey. Beyond the stay, I explored the local culture and traditions of South Goa. I enjoyed cooking traditional Goan sweets with local people, savoured authentic Goan food, visited the beautiful Savari Waterfall, and experienced the peaceful surroundings of Datta Gufa Temple in Netravali. This journey was a reminder that Goa is so much more than its beaches. Its forest villages, traditional food, local communities, and quiet corners offer a completely different travel experience.
