This traditional aarti beautifully describes Mount Kailash, the divine gardens, celestial musicians, dancing, the sound of the damaru and the majestic form of Shiva with five faces, three eyes, the crescent moon, serpent around His neck, sacred ash, trident, Pinaka and skull.
The hymn also portrays the divine presence of Goddess Parvati, Brahma performing the aarti, celestial beings singing and the devotee meditating upon Maheshwara with complete devotion.

1 — The Divine Abode of Kailash

Cuckoos sing sweetly, while graceful swans play about. Filled with joy, they create a beautiful celebration of divine art and movement.

2 — Shiva and Gauri at Kailash
In that beautiful divine place stands a magnificent jeweled hall.
Within it, beside Lord Hara, Goddess Gauri joyfully resides.
She playfully adorns and delights her beloved Lord, while Indra and the other gods worship Him with bowed heads.
Hara Hara Hara Mahadeva!
3 — Celestial Music and Dance
The divine maidens dance joyfully, while the Kinnaras sing melodies filled with all seven musical notes.
The mridanga resounds:
Dhinakata, thai thai, dhinakata!
The beautiful flute produces sweet sounds:
Kvana, kvana...
creating an enchanting divine performance.
Hara Hara Hara Mahadeva!
4 — The Rhythmic Dance of Shiva
The anklets upon the divine feet resound with beautiful:
Run run...
The dancer turns and moves in rhythmic circles, creating intricate patterns of movement.
The damaru sounds:
Taam taam, lup chup, taam taam!
The rhythmic sounds of the thumb and fingers create a captivating dance of divine energy.
Hara Hara Hara Mahadeva!
5 — The Majestic Form of Mahadev
Radiant and white like the brilliance of camphor, Shiva appears with five divine faces.
He has three eyes, the crescent moon upon His head and a serpent around His throat.
His beautiful matted locks shine magnificently, while fire blazes upon His forehead.
He holds the damaru, trident and Pinaka bow, while a skull is held in His hand.
Hara Hara Hara Mahadeva!
6 — Shiva's Divine Appearance
He wears a garland of skulls and a serpent as His sacred thread.
On His left side appears the beautiful form of Goddess Girija.
His entire body is beautifully adorned with sacred ash.
Thus He appears as the Lord whose banner bears the bull, the divine Vrishabhadhvaja, who removes the threefold sufferings of existence.

The conch resounds, while the jhallari cymbals create their sacred sound.
