Filmed September 22, 2026 Sasashima is just south of Nagoya Station, close enough to walk. But once the towers are behind you the scenery changes. This was the Sasashima freight station of Japan National Railways; today it is "Sasashima Live," a district that brings together shops, offices, a university and hotels. The Nakagawa Canal, once a working waterway, now has a promenade beside it with water buses and cafes by the water. The captions this time are about that change — walking through a place that used to be something else, and wondering what stood there before. The walk goes out past the railway to Market Square Sasashima and the towers, down to the canal, then back over the walkway at Sasashima-raibu Station and along the elevated deck to Nagoya Station.
