Before you spin around 3 times and get dizzy, can you guess what makes the biggest tornadoes spin faster than a race car? 🌪️
Join Milo and Nova in the park as they guess (wrong!), reach, roll and spin like the wind, learn how to stay safe, play SPIN OR FREEZE, and earn 5 Explorer Stars to open the MYSTERY BOX!
Kids will:
• Shout answers to Milo's silly guesses
• Reach up like warm air, roll their arms like a rolling pin, and spin like a tornado
• Practise tornado safety: crouch down low and cover your head
• Play SPIN OR FREEZE (watch out for the spinach!)
They'll learn:
• A tornado is a spinning tube of air, from a storm cloud down to the ground
• Warm air rushes up into a giant storm cloud
• Fast wind up high and slow wind down low make the air roll
• Rising air tips the roll up so it spins, and it stretches down to the ground
• Safety: go with a grown-up to a low room in the middle of the house, away from windows
