What is a Highly Sensitive Person?
About 15–20% of people have a nervous system that processes the world more deeply. This trait is known as high sensitivity, and people who have it are often referred to as Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs).
In this video, I explain:
• What the Highly Sensitive Person trait actually is
• What HSP is — and what it isn’t
• Common misconceptions about highly sensitive people
• Why sensitivity is not something that needs to be “fixed”
This channel isn’t about treating high sensitivity like a mental health issue. Instead, it focuses on practical insight and real-life strategies for people who process the world deeply.
If you’ve ever been told you’re “too sensitive,” or that you “overthink things,” you may simply have a nervous system that processes information more deeply than most.
