What Is a Flowchart? Plan Like a Coder with Bit the Robot

Bit's cookies came out burnt, then raw. What Bit needs is a plan: a flowchart! In this Code Quest Kids episode, kids meet the four flowchart shapes and their jobs (the oval is the door in and out, the rectangle does one step, the diamond asks a yes or no question, the arrow says go next), then build Bit's cookie flowchart one shape at a time. They add a question diamond, draw an arrow that goes back to make a loop, and follow the map step by step. Then they see the same map turn into Scratch blocks with repeat until, and into a tiny Python while loop, and finish with two quizzes, including a spot-the-bug flowchart. Try it yourself: draw a flowchart of your morning on paper, from waking up to leaving the house. Add a diamond, like "Is it a school day?"
