Kroger sold over thirty-nine billion dollars of its own store brand last year. And in its own filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Kroger says only about twenty percent of it is made in a Kroger plant. The rest, quoting the filing, are "produced to our strict specifications by outside manufacturers." 🛒 So the company making the expensive one might also be making the cheap one. Here's how you check that yourself, for free, in about thirty seconds. 👉 https://exposedbuyer.gumroad.com/l/mt... I put together the BuyerExposed Shopping Guide with every product from this video, what the evidence actually is behind each one, and which Kroger tier is worth paying for. It's free. We looked at Kroger's private label with receipts instead of opinions. Ten products with real third-party proof behind them: a Consumer Reports finding, three straight years of medals from the American Cheese Society, PLMA blind-panel awards, and head-to-head taste tests against named national brands. Then three Kroger products I would leave on the shelf, including one with a federal recall and three deaths attached to it. The video covers Kroger Creamy Ranch against Hidden Valley, Murray's Cheese against the specialty counter, Kroger Yellow Mustard against French's and Heinz, Kroger Chopped Spinach against Green Giant, Simple Truth Rotisserie Chicken against Sam's Club, Kroger Low Sodium Vegetable Juice against V8, Simple Truth Lemon Cookies against Tate's, Private Selection against Snyder's and Ben & Jerry's, and Home Chef. You'll also learn how to read a USDA establishment number and find the actual plant that made your food, why the words "distributed by" on a package are a legal admission, how to trace a milk carton back to its dairy, and why FDA facility registrations are the one lookup the public is not allowed to see. Nobody paid for this video. Kroger has no idea it exists. That's why three of their products are on the skip list. Documents cited: Kroger's Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2026; Consumer Reports, May 4, 2026; American Cheese Society award results for 2023, 2024 and 2026; PLMA Salute to Excellence winners for 2019, 2022 and 2024; FSIS Recall 023-2025; 9 CFR 317.2, 9 CFR 381.123 and 21 CFR 1.243; the FSIS Meat, Poultry and Egg Product Inspection Directory; and the FDA Interstate Milk Shippers List. Full source list is pinned at the top of the comments. Go read them yourself. That's the whole point.
