Can eVTOLs actually scale beyond demonstrations? Horizon Aircraft CEO Brandon Robinson joins Revo CEO João Welsh and SkyDrive’s Rohit Wariyar at Farnborough to examine which advanced air mobility services could work first.
Brandon speaks bluntly about an air traffic control system already under strain. The panel also tackles the less visible barriers: whether passengers save time door to door, what operators can afford, where aircraft can land, and how pilots and customers come to trust a new service.
The discussion covers urban air mobility, longer-range hybrid-electric aircraft, emergency medical transport, airspace capacity, vertiports and the economics behind early AAM routes.
This is an edited recording of “AAM in Practice: Which Use Cases Will Scale First?”, moderated by Bryn Lucas in Aerospace Global News Theatre 1 at Farnborough International Airshow on 23 July 2026. The opening speaker introductions have been removed.
