Beachy Head Ultra in Storm Buelo! I Was Blown Off My Feet!

The Beachy Head Marathon and Ultra is always a fantastic event, but Storm Buelo had other ideas this year! This 50K adventure took me across the spectacular Seven Sisters and the surrounding South Downs, with incredible coastal scenery, friendly marshals and some seriously wild weather. Driving rain and ferocious winds made things rather interesting. At one point, I was blown off my feet and took a nasty tumble down one of the Seven Sisters. Not quite the scenic running experience I'd signed up for. But I picked myself up, dusted myself off and carried on towards the finish.
