This video covers one muscle. The book covers all. FORCE IT TO GROW : https://inkgains-shop.fourthwall.com/... How to grow your rear delts: your shoulders can look fine from the front and completely flat from the side. The part that makes a shoulder look round from every angle is the rear delt, and it is the single most neglected muscle on most people. Here is why. Every press you do trains the FRONT of your shoulder, and almost nobody presses anything backwards. The rear delt pulls your arm backward and OUT, with the elbow travelling wide. Row with your elbows tucked against your ribs and the work goes into your lats and mid back. Flare those same elbows OUT and the rear delt becomes the muscle doing the job. Same weight, same cable, different muscle. It is also the muscle that balances all your pressing, which is why weak rear delts usually come with rounded shoulders and aching joints. In this video: why pressing leaves the back of your shoulder behind, the one cue that decides whether any pull trains it, four exercises that work, the mistakes that keep it flat, and a simple plan. The four exercises: Rear delt fly - 3 x 12-20, light, lead with the elbows, chest supported if you can Face pull - 3 x 15-20, elbows HIGH and wide, pull the rope apart Cable reverse fly - 3 x 12-15, cables crossed at the start for the stretch Band pull apart - 3 x 20-30, the one you can do anywhere, every day Timestamps 00:00 - The side you never see 01:00 - Back and out 02:24 - #1 Rear delt fly 03:40 - #2 Face pull 04:47 - The handbook (skip to 05:08 if you want) 05:08 - #3 Cable reverse fly 06:17 - #4 Band pull apart 07:12 - Watch out for these 08:07 - The plan 09:04 - Your move The single biggest fix: flare your elbows out. Tucked elbows train your back. Wide elbows train your rear delt. If your shoulders ache, go lighter and keep the reps high.
