Tune in to my latest video on how to incorporate bars or barbells and resistance band training together in the bench press. Here I discuss how to maximize results by combing a barbell and a resistance band. I also briefly discuss concepts such as 'line of pull' in fairly simple terms for those who aren't looking to make their training overly complicated, while touching on it enough to give those who are interested a starting point. Obviously bands aren't essential to get stronger in the bench press, though they can certainly help accelerate your gains and possibly break through lifting plateaus. So if you're someone who is looking to increase their pressing and/or bench press strength, I encourage you to give this a try.
Adding resistance bands to barbells will become part of a mini-series where I will be discussing other exercises such as squats, deadlifts, etc. So if this sounds like something you're interested in, or have been already doing and would like to see my two cents on it, let's get started.
