Understanding Tensor Calculus | Metric Compatibility and Torsion

In this video we cover a more general view of the covariant derivative. Along the way we will introduce the concepts of torsion and metric compatibility to better understand the connection in the covariant derivative. In the end of the video we cover a brief analogy between the connection and spin-1 objects in quantum field theory.
