The adventure gets seriously challenging in Episode 6 of my LADAKH DREAM RIDE from KOLKATA! This time, we leave Keylong and begin one of the most adventurous stretches of the entire journey — riding towards Padum, Zanskar, crossing the mighty Shinkula Pass and entering the remote and breathtaking Zanskar Valley. The ride wasn't easy. While crossing Shinkula, I was dealing with chronic AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness), making the climb even more challenging. But the incredible landscapes and the excitement of entering Zanskar kept us moving. From high-altitude mountain passes to rough and broken roads, dramatic valleys, countless twists and turns, and intense water crossings, this ride had everything an adventure motorcyclist could ask for.
