Cotswold Walk - Chalford and the Golden Valley

One of my favourite walks anywhere. A delightful stroll along the River Frome valley near Stroud, through the villages of Chalford, Oakridge Lynch and France Lynch. The western Cotswolds are more urbanised than the more widely known central and eastern Cotswolds, perhaps a little like a more rustic version of, say, Calderdale, with remnants of woollen mills and related industries often converted into private residences.
