A quiet night after work. Just me, the kitchen, and a simple dinner.
I work part-time at a patisserie. On the way home,
I stop by the train, change into something comfortable,
and slowly shift into evening mode.
Tonight I made bento for tomorrow — egg rolls and stir-fried
chicken — then a simple dinner with asparagus and king oyster
mushrooms. For years I restricted what I ate, always counting,
always holding back. These days I just cook what sounds good.
That shift changed everything.
After dinner: cleaning the ice maker, folding laundry while
overlapping English audio, brushing teeth, drying my hair,
and lights out.
Nothing dramatic. Just a quiet evening I wanted to remember.
