The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), UN Women and the World Food Programme (WFP) have signed a Joint Statement of Collaboration to advance gender-responsive social protection, promote women’s economic empowerment, and strengthen the inclusion of persons with disabilities in Pakistan. The collaboration will focus on promoting awareness of rights and entitlements, improving access to safe and inclusive services, strengthening maternal and child health, and expanding opportunities for women through skills development, livelihoods, entrepreneurship, and financial and digital inclusion. Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson BISP, Mr. Jamshed M.
