10 short French conversations for beginners, level A1-A2, all about work and study. Every conversation is introduced in English, then spoken entirely in French. Slow and clear listening practice. Scene 1 - At the office: meeting a new colleague. "Vous êtes le nouveau collègue?" (Are you the new colleague?) "Vous travaillez dans quel service?" (Which department do you work in?) "Je suis content de travailler ici." (I am happy to work here.) Scene 2 - At the job interview: talking about work. "Alors, qu'est-ce que vous faites comme travail?" (So, what kind of work do you do?) "Je travaille là depuis trois ans." (I have worked there for three years.) "Je peux commencer à neuf heures." (I can start at nine o'clock.)
