10 short French conversations for beginners, level A1-A2, all about the doctor, the pharmacy and health. Every conversation is introduced in English, then spoken entirely in French. Slow and clear listening practice. Scene 1 - In the waiting room: saying why you are here. "J'ai un rendez-vous à dix heures." (I have an appointment at ten.) "J'ai mal à la tête depuis hier." (My head has hurt since yesterday.) "Ne t'inquiète pas, tout va bien." (Do not worry, everything is fine.) Scene 2 - In the doctor's office: describing a sore throat. "J'ai très mal à la gorge." (My throat hurts a lot.) "Vous avez mal depuis quand?" (Since when has it hurt?) "Je dois prendre un médicament?" (Do I need to take medicine?) Scene 3 - At the pharmacy: buying medicine.
