Iran's most famous cake comes from a 100-year-old bakery hidden inside the Old Bazaar of Yazd 🇮🇷 In this Iranian street food documentary we go inside Haj Khalifeh Ali Akbar (Jame) in Yazd, Iran — a three-generation confectionery in the heart of the old bazaar, over 100 years old and still baking. Their masterpiece is Yazdi cake: the soft, fragrant sponge cake that is a staple of Yazd city and of Iran in general. We follow the entire process from start to end — mixing, baking, and the moment it comes out of the oven — while locals keep coming in to buy it fresh. Alongside the Yazdi cake, this family still makes the old Yazdi sweets by hand: ghotab (crisp almond-filled pastries dusted with powdered sugar), baklava, and crispy coconut cookies. This is traditional Iranian baking the way it has been done for generations — no shortcuts, no factory, just one family and one oven that an entire city depends on. 10 minutes of pure Persian food culture. No scripts. No gimmicks. Just real Iranian street food — how it's made, how it's served, and the people who keep this ancient Persian cuisine alive (کیک یزدی، قطاب، باقلوا، یزد). 📍 LOCATIONS (tap for directions & more info) Haj Khalifeh Ali Akbar Confectionary (Jame), Yazd, Iran → https://maps.app.goo.gl/d2WHUPAVCs4JX...
