Holiday Honeysnaps - My Random Recipes: Cookies

Created by InShot https://v.inshot.com/invite Holiday Honeysnaps 1 1/2 C. Shortening 2 C. Sugar 2 Eggs 1/2 C. Honey 4 C. Flour, sifted then measured 2 t. Baking Soda 2 t. Cinnamon 1 t. Vanilla Sugar, small amount Preheat oven to 375*. Cream together Shortening and Sugar until smooth. Beat in Eggs and Honey. Add Baking Soda, Cinnamon, and Vanilla to Flour, stir to combine. Combine wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing thoroughly. Roll dough into 1 inch balls, roll in a small amount of Sugar. Place on baking sheets. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until edges of set and cookies are lightly browned. (I gave mine a turn at 8 minutes and baked them 11 1/2 minutes). Makes 5 - 6 dozen.
