See how a watercolor desk calendar is made from start to finish. In this video, we print the calendar pages, troubleshoot an unexpected print-quality problem, cut and punch the finished sheets, score the cardstock backing boards, and assemble everything with wire binding. Production doesn’t go completely according to plan — we have to investigate the printing press, replace a faulty component, and later one stack gets punched on the wrong side. After a few fixes, production continues and the calendars are finished and assembled. The final result is a compact flip-style desk calendar with cute watercolor illustrations — handy at home and in the office.
