Florida deputy Zachary Wester wrote in his reports that he found meth on the drivers he stopped. Teresa Odom told him it wasn't hers. Then a prosecutor watched his own bodycam and saw his left hand.

Jackson County Sheriff's Office hired Wester in May 2016. On February 15, 2018, he stopped Teresa Odom on U.S. 231 near Cottondale for her brake lights, searched her truck and arrested her for meth. She took a plea. In summer 2018 prosecutor Christina Pumphrey reviewed the video, internal affairs found meth and drug gear in his own patrol car, and he was fired that September. More than one hundred cases were thrown out. The FDLE arrested him on July 10, 2019. In May 2021 a jury convicted him on 19 of 67 counts, including racketeering, perjury and fabricating evidence, for three drivers: Teresa Odom, Joshua Emanuel and Steven Vann. On July 13, 2021, Judge James Goodman sentenced him to 12 and a half years.
His defense pointed out that 11 backup officers stood at those stops. How many cases did nobody ever check? Tell me in the comments.
