The Grave of the Legendary Robin Hood. Kirklees Hall. Mirfield. Brighouse

One of the best known stories of folklore, most people may associate the legendary Robin Hood with Nottingham and Sherwood Forest. However, the final chapter of Robin Hood's life takes place at Kirklees Priory near Brighouse. The gatehouse of the priory is the location where Robin fired his arrow out of the window, and the spot where it landed is where he would be buried. Today we went to find where the arrow fell over 800 years ago and the final resting place of a legend. ....or myth 🤔
