“Lauh Bhi Tu, Qalam Bhi Tu, Tera Wujood Al-Kitab” is one of the most celebrated devotional passages in the poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. لوح بھی تو، قلم بھی تو، تیرا وجود الکتاب گنبد آبگینہ رنگ تیرے محیط میں حباب These deeply spiritual verses appear in “Zauq-o-Shauq” (ذوق و شوق) from Iqbal’s celebrated collection Bal-e-Jibril (بالِ جبریل), in the section devoted to the glory and spiritual presence of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Through magnificent symbols such as the Lauh, the Qalam, Al-Kitab, the rising sun, prayer, intellect and love, Iqbal expresses the extraordinary spiritual station of the Prophet ﷺ and the transforming power of love for him.
