Build stronger, more stable legs with this 20-minute beginner-friendly yoga practice focused on lower-body strength, balance, and stability. This flow works your legs through a combination of standing strength work, lunges, squats, and balance poses, helping you build strength while improving control and stability.
You don’t need to be an experienced yogi to do this practice. I use yoga blocks for support and balance, but you can adapt the poses to suit your body and your current level. Move at your own pace, focus on steady breathing and good alignment, and remember that strength doesn’t have to mean rushing through a workout or holding a pose until your legs completely revolt.
This is a great standalone practice when you want to focus on your lower body, or something you can add to your regular yoga routine when your legs need a little extra attention.
Topics covered:
• Lower-body and leg strength
• Balance and stability
• Hip and leg mobility
• Strength through standing yoga poses
• Building control and stability
• Beginner-friendly modifications and support
Props: Yoga blocks recommended, but not required.
