Today is my Humira injection day as part of my treatment for Crohn’s disease. I’m also making gyudon—a Japanese beef and rice bowl.
The ingredients cost about ¥400 (roughly $2.50) per bowl. There’s something comforting about a simple homemade meal.
Treatment and everyday cooking are both part of my life. In this video, I’m sharing an ordinary day of living with Crohn’s disease in rural Japan.
What’s your favorite comfort food?
On this channel, I share my family’s daily life in the Japanese countryside as I work, live with Crohn’s disease, and care for land that has been passed down through my family for generations.
Everything shared in this video is based on my personal experience and is not intended as medical advice.
