An Aimless AJS Trundle to Killingworth & Site of Former Seaton Burn Colliery

As usual, I had no plan for where I was going but at least I ended up at a place I've been thinking of looking at for a while. This was an aimless trundle through Burradon and Camperdown to Killingworth, then onward to Dudley and Seaton Burn. This was all between 0800 and 0900 on a sunny Sunday morning. The camera angle is not the best but it will just about do. I paused at Seaton Burn because I wanted to view the commemorative sign that marked the site of the former Seaton Burn Colliery, which closed sometime around 1963, I think. There were a couple of friendly cyclists there and a friendly pigeon earlier in the ride. The tickover speed is improved but still not quite right, I need to reset that properly. After the ride, I added about 50ml of engine oil and maybe 30ml of gearbox oil. This seems to be about the going rate for every couple of gallons of petrol. I also tightened up the side stand, although I need a permanent fix for that. I can feel a bit of Loctite coming on. One of these days I might get around to fitting the new exhaust too. I have kept an unredacted version of this video, in case anyone is interested. It's about 4 minutes longer.
