In this ranked Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition match, KnightRushTV plays Koreans vs Jurchens on Arabia against Luchovsky at 1469 ELO.
This one turns into an incredibly messy Feudal Age almost immediately.
I open with my usual Men-at-Arms into Archers, while my opponent chooses a Scout rush. Both strategies find significant damage, with several Villagers going down on each side as we repeatedly attack each other's economies.
Looking back, my stubborn refusal to fully wall my base probably made this game much more difficult than it needed to be. With my opponent committing heavily to Scouts, completing my walls would have protected my economy and allowed me to concentrate much more of my attention on the offensive pressure.
Despite the damage at home, my Archers eventually find an extremely valuable position on my opponent's main Gold.
By denying access to Gold and keeping pressure on his economy, I'm able to significantly delay his progression to Castle Age. I eventually reach Castle Age approximately four minutes ahead, giving me a huge window to capitalize on the advantage.
Rather than sitting back, I immediately place a forward Siege Workshop outside his base and prepare to continue the pressure.
Once my opponent finally reaches Castle Age, both of us begin producing Rocket Carts, setting up what looks like it could become a prolonged siege battle.
Instead, it ends with one devastating shot.
I manage to connect with a huge Rocket Cart attack that destroys three of his Rocket Carts at once, instantly swinging the siege numbers heavily in my favor.
After an incredibly chaotic Feudal Age, the game suddenly becomes almost impossible for my opponent to recover. Around a minute after losing the three Rocket Carts, Luchovsky resigns.

This was definitely one of the messier games I've played recently. Both of us managed to cause substantial economic damage in Feudal Age, and better walling on my part could probably have made the game considerably easier.
However, keeping my Archers alive and controlling his Gold ultimately proved far more important. Delaying his Castle Age by around four minutes gave me the opportunity to establish forward siege and dictate the next stage of the game.
Then sometimes in Age of Empires II, one good siege shot is all it takes.
Three Rocket Carts disappear, the military advantage swings massively in my favor, and the game is over a minute later.
