Bodie - Teaching Your Dog to Stay Put Around Distractions (Place & Down-Stay)

In this session, Bodie practices staying calmly on his bed while things get harder: movement, noises, and his handler walking away toward an open door (building duration and distance on a "place" and down-stay). When he gets up early, he doesn't get scolded. We simply make the next try a little easier so he can succeed, because mistakes usually mean the step was too hard, not that the dog is being "bad." A rock-solid stay is a real safety skill, letting you stop your dog in place anywhere.
