Looking for a yoga practice that doesn't put weight on your hands? Come join me for this gentle 20-minute hands-free yoga class! 🧘‍♀️ Whether you need a break from downward dog and other weight-bearing poses, want a gentler way to move your body, or simply prefer a slower practice on the mat, this class gives you time to stretch, breathe and unwind without supporting your body weight on your hands. We'll start with some seated breathing and gentle movement to loosen up the neck, shoulders and spine before moving into stretches for the hips, hamstrings and lower back. We'll also spend some time opening the hips, gently releasing tension through the back and settling into a few supported poses before finishing with savasana. This is a slower, gentle practice, with plenty of time to settle into each position and focus on your breathing rather than rushing from one pose to the next. You can use props to make yourself comfortable and give your body a little extra support along the way. *What you'll need:* A yoga block A blanket and/or a few pillows for extra cushioning and support Your yoga mat and a little space to get comfortable Don't have yoga props? Use what you have at home. A firm pillow or folded blanket can work well for extra support. This class is suitable for anyone looking for a gentler, hands-free yoga practice. Listen to your own body, make sure you can breathe fully, and ease off if anything doesn't feel right. Thanks for joining me!
