India's indigenous Pinaka Multi Barrel Rocket Launcher system is attracting growing international attention, marking an important development in the country's defence manufacturing and export ambitions. Developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Pinaka system has become a significant part of India's artillery capabilities. It can fire up to 12 rockets in just 44 seconds, giving the Indian armed forces the ability to deliver rapid and concentrated firepower against enemy positions. Several foreign countries have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring this advanced Indian rocket launcher system. Reports suggest that new export orders could materialise as early as December 2026, with another export agreement potentially expected in the coming month.
