How Ollie and Travis’s Height Difference Causes HYROX Problems

Ollie Russell prepares to open his HYROX season in Valencia after seven consecutive weeks of high-volume training, with several major rivals waiting on the start line. He breaks down his final race-specific session, how he tapers after 17 to 18-hour training weeks and why the second half of a HYROX race becomes a chess match between athletes. He also explains what he needs to achieve in Valencia before rejoining Travis Owles for their Elite 15 Doubles campaign in Hamburg. Ollie and Travis also revisit the painful sandbag transfer in Warsaw that was caused by their height difference, compare racing shoes and discuss the physical reality of training like full-time hybrid athletes. #FrogAndDog #HYROX #BOXROX
