Hi friends! 💚 These Bacon-Wrapped Pork Rolls are one of those high-protein dinners my wife makes for me when I need to get closer to my 200 g daily protein goal. The whole batch has around 120 g of protein — and yes, I can easily eat all five! 😄
If you're eating high protein to build muscle, support fat loss or weight loss, or simply trying to hit your daily protein goals with real food, this is definitely one to save.
✅ You'll need:
5 lean pork steaks — 2/3 lb (300 g)
1/3 cup (80 g) low-fat high-protein cream cheese
1/2 cup (50 g) light shredded Cheddar cheese
Large handful fresh herbs, finely chopped — I used parsley and green onions
2 garlic cloves
Small piece jalapeño, optional
Salt and black pepper
10 bacon slices
✅ How to make it:
→ Mix the cream cheese, Cheddar, fresh herbs, garlic, jalapeño, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
→ Pound the lean pork steaks until thin and season them with salt and black pepper.
→ Divide the creamy cheese filling evenly between the 5 steaks.
→ Roll each steak tightly around the filling.
→ Wrap each roll with 2 slices of bacon and secure with toothpicks.
→ Place the rolls into your air fryer basket or a baking dish.
→ Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
→ If you're using the oven, bake them for an additional 5–10 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked.
→ Remove the toothpicks and enjoy them while they're hot!

And they're ready! Just look inside — the pork stays juicy, with that creamy, cheesy herb filling in the middle. So good!
