The old Wu general Huang Gai pretends to surrender and writes to Cao Cao, whose hundreds of warships are chained together. Cao laughs off the danger of fire — in winter only the north-west wind blows. But the south-east wind rises: Huang Gai's twenty boats, packed with dry reeds and oil, sail in under blue-dragon flags and burst into flame, the chained fleet cannot break apart, and Cao Cao flees towards Huarong Trail. Words to learn: 连环计 (a chain of linked tricks) and 以少胜多 (the few beating the many). The battle really happened, in the year 208. Retold for children from chapters 46–50 of the Ming-dynasty novel by Luo Guanzhong — only empty ships burn and nobody is hurt. 学一学 Let's learn 道理：曹操骄傲大意，吃了大败仗；孙刘两家齐心协力，用好计谋，以少胜多。 生字词：连环计（lián huán jì） a chain of linked tricks · 以少胜多（yǐ shǎo shèng duō） the few defeating the many 章节 Chapters 0:00 开场 Intro 0:32 老将黄盖 The old general's plan 1:44 连在一起的大船 The chained ships 3:05 东南风 The south-east wind 4:08 火船 The fire ships 5:51 曹操败走 Cao Cao flees 6:47 学一学 Let's learn 旁白及配音由 AI 合成 · Narration and voices are AI-generated 🖌 墨池挑战：说一个《三国演义》里的人物 https://mokechi.com/q/t006 接着看 Watch next ▶ 更多三国演义故事动画｜水墨 · 儿童版 · Three Kingdoms Stories:    • 三国演义故事动画｜水墨 · 儿童版   ▶ 也来看看 传统节日故事动画｜水墨 · 中英双语 · Chinese Festival Stories:    • 传统节日故事动画｜水墨 · 中英双语
